The stroopwafel was invented in The Netherlands in the late 1700s by baker Gerard Kamphuisen in the city of Gouda (yes, like the cheese). Rather than wasting old cakes and breads, the baker got inventive. He recycled the leftovers into a sweet batter that he cooked into thin cookies called armenkoeken, or "poor man's cookies." Later, these evolved into waffles made using a special iron. While still piping hot, the waffle would be cut horizontally and filled with "stroop," a caramel-ish syrup made from brown sugar, butter, & cinnamon.
Stroopwafels symbolize one of TSA's favorite values: problems are better solved with creativity (and coffee, of course). With a unique blend of THC, THC-V, & CBD-V, the uplifting effects of this gummy parallel its delectable Dutch flavor profile. If you're ready to fly higher, let TSA's Stroopwafel turn you into a creative problem solver!
